 Tuesday - Windy (so windy) and snowy

Apparently last night I forgot to set my alarms, because I slept in this morning! I got up around 9 and didn’t fall asleep later so it might have been a good thing?

I got up after watching the news and put on the X-Men movie that was on the TV. I got my breakfast a bit later.

I had a fairly quiet day today. I did manage to do the wardrobe thing as well…today I found one of my favourite casual dresses just doesn’t fit anymore, so I took it out of the wardrobe. I have to decide what to do with my old clothes. I don’t know anyone that might want them, sad to say.

I watched an episode of The Walking Dead today too. It was one about Beth. It was good, but I know something ominous is coming since I Wikipedia’d it. 

I went downstairs to start dinner. I started getting things ready and then F said he was on the way. Tonight in honour of Pancake Tuesday I did pancakes for dinner with sausages and salad. I also did pot of decaf coffee for the three of us. Unfortunately, as usual, I had to really yell to get F to come down. I gave K her pancakes and she didn’t eat them for ages because no one else was at the table. At no time during the meal did anyone offer to take over cooking for me so I could go and eat so I just ate in the kitchen. I really am feeling very kitchen skivvy these days. I finally cooked all the pancake mix so went into the living room and finished my meal. We had coffee and I donated some of my cakes from my Valentine box for our “dessert”. 

I did all the dishes too. I knew that F was tired so I wasn’t surprised when I found him lying on the floor in the living room. I told him I was going to go to the washroom then would go upstairs and change before going out. I went upstairs and F was already out the door and had the car started. I was quite upset with that. If I think he went out to get the car warmed up that would be different, but he went out and didn’t take the shopping bags and stuff.

We went to the grocery store and started walking around. I had told F that I’d like to make a stew for tomorrow, but I didn’t know what ingredients to buy. I said I’d like to go and get a box of the roux and then I’d know what to buy. All he said was “I don’t have to be here.” Okay, dude…I told him if he wanted to go and sit in the car it was okay, but he didn’t mean that. We had a few words again when I asked him what some of the kanji on the boxes meant, but eventually he stopped being a jerk. 

We came back to the house and both of us decided not to take showers tonight. It is so cold and windy we didn’t want to! Well, I didn’t anyway.

I watched Prodigal Son at 11 and then turned off the TV. I don’t think I was up to more Walking Dead tonight. 

So that was my day. It was a quiet one, but it’s okay, I really didn’t mind. Not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow but I really do need to start doing laundry! Come back later if you like and hear all about Wednesday. Until tomorrow….
