Thursday - Snowy and cold

I woke up early this morning and went downstairs. I came back upstairs and went to bed again. I overslept and didn’t get out of bed for a long time. Sigh. I didn’t do any laundry today, but I did spend some time emailing the company that contacted me yesterday. 

I had my breakfast and lunch in good order. After lunch I went outside and shovelled snow for a few minutes. There wasn’t much out, but I’m still glad that I did it. After I finished, I locked the house door and went for a walk to a vending machine that I’ve been meaning to go to for a few months. I grabbed myself a hot coffee and a bottle of cider for K then walked back to the house and let myself in. 

I came upstairs, watched the news and then went downstairs to start on dinner. I did dishes and then I got out the stew to start heating it up. I also made some guacamole and put it in the fridge for a bit. 

When F came back I told him that dinner would be soon so he went upstairs to change. I put most of the food out on the table and then called F down.  Tonight’s dinner was a bit of a culture combo. We had cream stew with rice and salad, and we had tortilla chips and guacamole and salsa. Dinner was good and most things disappeared. We did have a little guacamole left over, and of course a ton of tortilla chips, but other than that…

I did dishes after dinner. There wasn’t that much in a way, but there were three of everything and it seemed to take me ages to wash and dry it all. We were supposed to go to the grocery store tonight, but I begged off. I was quite tired. 

When I came upstairs, F and I had a bit of a chat and then I came over to my computer to watch Shameless. I watched it and did a few rows of crochet too. I enjoyed that. 

I watched Blindspot too. That show gets more ridiculous as it goes along. I like some of the characters, but not the writing. Oh well. It’s nearly over anyway.

That’s about it for my day. I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow. You should just come on back and read all about my Friday a bit later. Until tomorrow….
