Friday - Sunny? I didn’t go out.
I went to bed really late last night but did get up “on time” this morning. However, I decided that I hadn’t slept enough so went back to sleep for an hour.
I got up and felt much better later. I had a quiet afternoon. After lunch, I did watch an episode of The Walking Dead, so that was three this week. Woot. I need to speed it up. Nobody died today, but something is definitely brewing.
I went downstairs to get a start on dinner before 6 pm. Tonight was a simple one, just pasta with bacon on the side and salad. When I started my dishes I was surprised to see that the wooden platform under the basin was gone. F and I put a wood platform down there because we have to bend over so far that our backs hurt when we do dishes. Anyway, it was gone. I asked K what happened to it and she didn’t understand me. I decided I’d ask F to ask her later. It turned out that she had scrubbed it and taken it outside to sit in the sun for a bit. A great idea, I just wish that she’d told me!
Dinner was fine. I used a pepperoncino sauce and it went well with the bacon and salad. There was a bit of pasta leftover.
I did the dishes and then came upstairs. F came up at 10 pm and asked me if I wanted to go out. I asked him where he thought we could go at 10pm? There are very few places still open at that time. We could go to a coffee shop for an hour or check out a convenience store, but….I told him it was fine and I didn’t need to go out.
I took a shower tonight and that’s been about it for the day. Tomorrow I have a dental appointment in the afternoon. I might go to the doctor if there’s time too, but I think F promised to take K to the doctor in the morning.
