Sunday - Cloudy and drizzly all day

I got up early this morning, went downstairs and then went back to sleep. F didn’t have any plans for the day so it was a touch relaxing for a change.

When I finally woke up for the day, F did a couple of things that surprised me. He thanked me for telling him about the movie Wolfwalkers on Apple+ TV. He said that he watched it last night and liked it. Yay! The other thing he said that surprised me was he made a suggestion for lunch. He suggested the place in Fujishima town that we’ve tried to go to a couple of times. I didn’t think they were open, but he called them and actually made a reservation for lunch for us in about 40 minutes. Wow! Go F!

We got dressed and went out. We found the restaurant, found a parking space and went in. We both had different dishes, but they were similar. I had pork sauté and it came with miso soup, rice, salad, soup and coffee. F had pork as well, but his was ginger flavoured. We both enjoyed our meals and also loved looking at the garden when we had the chance. 

After our lunch, we started driving around. We made a brief pit stop and then drove out to the Matsugaoka area.  We were looking for the new Winery there. We finally found it. They have a restaurant/coffee shop in the main building so we went in and had dessert. We tried to have some of the grape juice that was made there, but it wasn’t available today. We each had some grape poundcake and a cream cheese mousse. It was nice.

After our break, I suggested going to get some of the shopping that I wanted. F was nice enough to go along with that so I went to Gyomu Super and then to Yamaya to pick up a few things I needed and wanted!

We came back to the house for a couple of hours and relaxed. Around 6:00 or so we talked about getting K a bento for dinner, so F went out and grabbed something for her. He brought it back and around 7 pm F and I went out for our dinner. We went to the new pasta restaurant near the grocery store Mina. When we were there, I had bacon and cabbage pepperoncino and F had a bacon and egg doria. He made his bigger and then couldn’t eat it all. He gave the rest to me! 

We bought some groceries and then came back to the house. We put the food away and then came upstairs. We had a quiet evening in. I watched some YouTube since Project Runway wasn’t on tonight. 

I’m not sure what I’m going to get up to tomorrow. I should watch some of my backlog of The Walking Dead and I really should get some stuff done around the house. Oh, yeah, I also have to cook dinner.
