Tuesday - Sunny but cool

I went to bed last night and when I was in bed, F was still up with the lights on! I pulled my eye mask on and went to bed. F told me tonight that he didn’t go back to bed until an hour after I did.

This morning I got up and did all the things that I usually do in the morning. I had a bit of a snooze too but managed to get up earlier than I did yesterday. I had a slightly early breakfast and then a little bit later an early for me lunch. 

Between 1pm and 2pm, I got ready for my classes. I had to set up for my classes which involved a bit of furniture moving. I got changed too. From 2 pm to 3 pm I was busy. I had a short break at 3 pm and during that break, I had to let in F’s aunt as she brought over some vegetables for K and F’s sister! I just made it back to my second lesson in time. My students asked me if something had happened because I was a tad out of breath after running upstairs!

Anyway, at 4:30 I was finished teaching so I put away my furniture in the right places and did a bit of teacher cool down. I had to send a little email today too.

F called around 5:30 and said he was on his way back. I went downstairs and started getting things put together for dinner. Today, I did pork chops with salad, rice, miso soup, cucumber pickle and yesterday’s leftover eggplant stirfry. Dinner went over quite well. Yay! 

I did the dishes after we ate and then went upstairs. I had hoped to have a rest for a few minutes, but F wanted to leave for the grocery store right away.  Off we went.

We went to the drugstore first and picked up a few things for the house. I got some detergent and hand soap, that kind of thing. Then, we hit up MaxValu for some food. Well, I got the food, F got his alcohol. I’m doing silly food for the next couple of days I think! Tomorrow we’ll have pancakes and sausages for dinner and on Thursday it’ll be chicken nuggets and hash browns. A terribly healthy meal!

When we came back to the house, I put the groceries away and came upstairs. After a bit, I went back downstairs and took a shower. 

F is snoozing on the bed. Actually, I think he’s bypassed snoozing and is fast asleep! I’ll have to go and disturb him soon as I’m going to be off to bed myself.
