 Saturday - Cloudy with a bit of rain, warmer

I woke up early-ish this morning but went back to sleep soon afterwards. Oops. When I did get up, I went downstairs and also filled up the kerosene tank in the heater. 

We had a quiet morning and afternoon around here. I didn’t get out of my pyjamas until 3 pm, but then again, F was exactly the same!

We went to do some grocery shopping for dinner and then went to the gas station. F got gas for the car and kerosene for the house too.

Back at the house again I unpacked the groceries and then got started making baked apples. We have a glut of apples so I decided to make some baked apples in my air fryer. I got them all prepped and ready to cook before I started to heat up the bentos for dinner. 

I started to heat up my air fryer and turned off the heater in the kitchen. Unfortunately, when I started the microwave too, the fuse went. Argh. F fixed it for me, but I told him that I wasn’t impressed with the electricity in the house. I told him that in North America it wouldn’t be acceptable. He told me it was normal in Japan. Maybe so, but it’s still not very good. 

Anyway, I had to wait to cook the apples until after I had heated up all of the bentos. It worked fine, I just had to wait a bit until the air fryer was heated up too. 

After we ate I served us some baked apples. They turned out rather nicely. I hope that I don’t get an upset stomach from them as I generally avoid apples these days. 

I did the dishes afterwards and listened to a podcast that made me laugh. It was rather good. I went upstairs when I finished and relaxed upstairs. 

And that is pretty much it for my day. I watched Resident Alien and then some YouTube. I’m watching much too much YouTube these days, but some of the people I watch are quite good. At least I think so!

I’m not sure what we’ll get up to tomorrow, come on back and find out then. Until tomorrow…
