Thursday - Cooler but oh so humid.
I woke up this morning when my alarm went off, and got up a little later. I actually got dressed right off the bat today. At 9:00am I went online and registered for the convention. Woot! About a minute later, a friend of mine texted me that she had just finished. She probably finished just before I did! I have to go and pay for it all soon, but I can do that …maybe tomorrow!
After that, I did a little snoozing and finally got up and grabbed breakfast. I also took a load of towels and washed them. I ate while they were in the machine and then hung them up. I watched a bit of YouTube and relaxed for a bit. I watched an episode of Ghosts and later when I got lunch, I watched another Bake-Off episode.
F didn’t call for ages when I was thinking about going downstairs. I finally went down and of course, he called me. He said he was on his way.
Tonight’s dinner was fairly simple. I did some microwaved okra, some salad and a pork stir-fry. I had bought a couple of bags of pre-cut veggies on my last grocery trip. I added some mushrooms and some pork. I found a recipe for a stir-fry sauce so I made that, and it all worked. As usual, F took ages to come downstairs so K and I were nearly eating when he arrived. Dinner was pretty good and we enjoyed it. I did anyway.
I got the dishes done fairly quickly and then let F know that I wanted to go out tonight. I wanted to get something for his and his mother’s breakfasts.
We drove to the closer big grocery store and when I asked F for some money, he didn’t have any! I had to use my own. He promised that he’d pay me back tomorrow. That wasn’t too convenient for me!
F stayed in the car as his knees were bothering him tonight. I went around the store and enjoyed myself! I picked up a couple of things for myself and the kitchen and then I paid for them.
When I got back to the car, F paid me back with coins, so that was good. We came back to the house and I put the things away.
I went upstairs, put on my pyjamas and then watched a bit of TV. I watched an episode of Loot on Apple TV and then an episode of The Boys on the Fire Stick. Right at the end, when it was really exciting and violent, F came over and stuck his phone under my nose and asked if the picture on the screen was of Mr. Bean. I was rather annoyed with him. If he’d waited another 30 seconds the show would have been over and I wouldn’t have cared. It’s typical F. It wasn’t Mr. Bean either.
He spent much of the evening trying to make arrangements for himself and K to get their 4th vaccine. It’s probably going to be this weekend. I was a little miffed (stupidly) as I was hoping to go to a movie this weekend. I do think it is more important for the two of them to get their shots though.
That’s about it for me. Tomorrow I’m hoping to do laundry before I go out. I’m thinking to do laundry, hanging it up and then catching a bus. I’ll go downtown and have lunch, do a lot of business at the post office and then probably go to S-Mall and spend some time there. Hopefully, F will pick me up after he finishes work!
