Wednesday - Hot and muggy
I woke up this morning when my alarm went off and it was hot in the room. I was also alone. Woot. F must have gone off to work. I had a quiet morning, I watched the news and then the early news too. I even took a little bit of a nap and then got dressed and went downstairs and grabbed my breakfast.
In the kitchen, I discovered that K had been busy. She’d taken all of the chopsticks and cutlery out of the drainer and had thrown them all in one of our bowls. She’d left the drainer cutlery compartment in the basin along with my bottle washer. The one I use to wash our tea bottles, oh dear. I moved my bottle washer out of the way and left the rest of the stuff for her to deal with.
I had breakfast upstairs and also found a message from my friend in the next town. She was wondering if I would be able to meet up later in the afternoon. Of course! For her, almost anytime!
I had a quiet day really. I had my lunch and then got ready to meet up with my friend. She arrived on time and we drove over to Komeda’s Coffee. We spent the next hour talking and catching up. It was terrific to get together. We both had lots of news to talk about.
She drove me back to the house and we hugged goodbye. I went into the house and went upstairs and relaxed for a bit.
F called to say that he was on the way back to the house, so I went downstairs and got a start on dinner. Tonight I did ginger pork at F’s request, a veggie roast in the air fryer and some salad. It was really nice. I heated up rice for K and F and then we ate. Dinner was fairly popular. F liked the pork and most of the salad disappeared.
I was in the kitchen for a while tonight. I washed dishes and put the clean ones away. When I finally finished the dishes, I got stuck in on doing up the garbage to go out tonight. That took a bit of time. I told F I was going upstairs and did. I got my garbage in the room ready and let F do his when he came back up.
I took a shower and then came upstairs and watched Grey’s Anatomy. It was an okay one today, except Addison was back and that was really good to see her.
F didn’t take his shower for ages but finally did. He’s gone to bed but was up rather late tonight. I hope he’s okay tomorrow…
I might do some laundry tomorrow, I’m not sure. Come back later and hear all about the excitement! Until tomorrow….
