Saturday - Hot and Sunny

I woke up early today, went downstairs for a minute and then came back upstairs and went back to sleep. I didn’t wake up properly with my alarms, so it was 11:00 before I got out of bed. 

I dressed and waited for F. It took a while.  He came upstairs around 12:00 or so and we talked about places to go. I suggested a couple from the magazines that we have bought lately. F was okay with that.  I went downstairs and waited for him. The front door was open as F had come in and left it open, then I waited for him. I waited a bit longer. I finally sent him a text because I had no idea where he was. 

He called me back to say that he’d lost his car keys AGAIN. He looked for them and turned our bedroom upside down looking for them. I suggested that he check his clothes from yesterday. He said he already did. Finally, it got near 1:00pm and I had had enough. I told him that I couldn’t wait any longer and that I had to eat now. I went downstairs, took the leftovers from yesterday’s meal out of the fridge, heated them up and then F announced that he found his keys. They were in his uniform from yesterday. EYE ROLL.  I told him I didn’t care, I was going to eat anyway. I enjoyed my lunch. It was delicious and I didn’t have to worry about the price (free!) and didn’t have to put up with my lunch partner watching TikTok. Yay me.

I washed the dishes when I finished and went upstairs. I suggested to F that we go out for a drink and he said okay. We used one of the magazines and chose a place on the other side of Komagi park. It was quite nice. We both had cake and coffee, mine was iced coffee, and F’s was hot. I had a double berry cake and F had a peach cake. It was an interesting place, also had a ton of books. I might go back, depends if I can get my bike out or not. 

We didn’t really know what to do with ourselves when we finished there. F wanted to get a bento for K, but I wasn’t ready quite yet. I suggested going to a drugstore near MaxValu so that I could look for some cosmetics. I haven’t used makeup at all in the last few years and it is high time that I got some new stuff! I looked at the stuff in the drugstore but I wasn’t happy with the brands. The makeup clerk didn’t come anywhere near me, even after F joined me, so I couldn’t ask. We walked out.

F went to the nearby grocery store and picked up some sushi for K. We brought it back to the house and then in a few minutes, we went out again. I got F to take me to S-Mall where I got him seated in Doutor with a cup of coffee. I went off to the Mini-Pla and looked for make-up. I bought a few things. I really only wanted mascara, lipstick and some eyeshadow. That’s what I got. I went off to the nearby drugstore to get some makeup applicators and some makeup remover. I paid and then met F back at Doutor.

He wanted to leave so we left the mall. We discussed dinner and I suggested going to Kintaro Sushi.  We haven’t been in ages, every time I suggest sushi, it is too late to go to our favourite place.  We went and of course, it was lined up. F went inside to wait and I stayed in the car. It took a while, but finally, we were able to be seated. We had some very nice sushi and enjoyed ourselves. It really is a good sushi place, much better than most of the chain places around us.

After dinner, I suggested making a quick stop at Yamaya. I had finished up my couscous this week so I got more, and I picked up some tea too. I like easy tea for breakfast! We got a few snacks as well. 

We came back to the house and just relaxed. I did a bit of reading and such on the net. I watched a new-to-me show on the Fire Stick and then put on WOWOW for something on it. After that, The Name of the Rose came on and I rewatched it. I haven’t seen it in years. I might have been at college or something. It was good. 

And that’s about it. F has gone to bed already and is sleeping for now. Tomorrow he’s going to get a massage, I’m not sure what I’m going to do while he’s away, hopefully, go shopping by myself again!
