Saturday - No idea, didn’t go out!
I woke up this morning to a quiet room. F had already gone to work and hadn’t woken me up. I slept a little longer but did get up fairly early for a Saturday. I grabbed breakfast and then came back upstairs.
After I ate my breakfast I swept the stairs and also filled up the deodorizer in the toilet room. I came upstairs and watched a show off the DVR. It’s a good thing I did, as you will hear later. I had a quiet afternoon really.
I tried to watch another show off the DVR a little later on, but…it had stopped working. There was a message on the TV screen. I translated it with my phone and tried to fix it, but couldn’t. Sigh. My Fire Stick still works, so that is good. But…my DVR. My movies….wah!
I grabbed lunch and while I was heating mine up, K came into the kitchen to get hers. She wanted to heat hers up but I asked her to wait a minute. She didn’t understand until she saw that I was already using the microwave! She left the room. When I was finished, I let her know and I believe she heated up her food.
I went upstairs and ate, I watched some YouTube today. I also worked on an ornament. I had made part of it earlier in the month when I was looking for patterns for ornaments. I didn't finish it then, but I did today. It’s quite cute.
F called a bit after 5 to say that he was on his way back, so I went downstairs and got a start on dinner. To be honest, he was back when I was going into the kitchen. However, tonight, I was just making pasta so I didn’t need to work too hard. It is the weekend after all.
We had pasta with weiners (not North American style, more of a regular sausage type), and salad. K surprised me by having about 4 glasses of mugi-cha. She must be very dehydrated. As usual, it took F an age to get down to the table. I was quite annoyed with him. K won’t really start eating until he’s at the table. She’s more polite than I am!
After dinner, I did the dishes and didn’t take too long to do them. Yay.
I went upstairs and F came too. We tried to fix the DVR but weren’t able to. F made it so I can watch WOWOW on the TV, but I won’t be able to record anything. We’ll probably have to get a new DVR since this is the second time that this has happened. That means I’ll lose all of my movies on there. Sigh.
I had a quiet evening. F works tomorrow afternoon, so he can get a good night’s sleep, but he has a quick turnaround. Works til midnight or so, and works again at 8:30 in the morning. Sigh.
