Monday - Sunny but cool

I woke up this morning before 8 am. I hadn’t heard F leave this morning, which I was happy about. I woke up, went downstairs, came back to the room and watched the British news and then went back to bed. Not my usual snoozing, actual sleeping. I slept a bit late, but I wasn’t upset about it!

I went downstairs to get my breakfast and then came back to the room.  I ate and watched some YouTube. I had a quiet afternoon and just relaxed over the day. Later on, I grabbed my lunch and came upstairs to watch the US news before I watched Bake-Off. That was fun.

F didn’t call me when he usually does, so I went downstairs around 5:45 and got started on the dishes and cleaning up things in the kitchen. Today I cooked chicken in the toaster oven, stir-fried some eggplant and prepared cucumber and dip for everyone. We had all of that with salad and rice for K and F. F called a bit late to say he was on the way back. He asked if I needed anything and I just said only if you wanted something extra. He brought ice cream!

I got dinner on the table a little after 7 pm and things went rather well. The cucumber and spicy Korean dip went over quite well, and a lot of stuff was eaten. 

I did the dishes afterwards and packed a plate for K’s lunch tomorrow. I listened to podcasts and enjoyed them too. I bagged up the plastic garbage and put it out for F to take to the gomi station in the morning.

I went upstairs and relaxed for a while, watched a little YouTube, and then a bit after 10 went downstairs again and took a shower. Surprisingly K was up again. She was in the living room but came into the kitchen to see what I was doing. She seemed surprised to see me!

I showered and then went upstairs.  I watched another episode of The Power and then turned off the TV. F took his shower a bit late and then went to bed.

So, that was my day. It was rather boring in a way, but low key too. Tomorrow I hope to do a bit of laundry and maybe a few other things.  

Oh, I measured my blanket on F today and it is long enough! I really don’t need to crochet anymore. I might just to balance the colours, but I can say I’m done. Woot.
