Monday - Rainy, cloudy and cool
I woke up this morning when my alarm went off. I got up, and went downstairs. I could hear K downstairs and it sounded like she was sweeping the floor. I waited until she went around the corner and went into the washroom! Surprisingly, K had disappeared when I came out.
I came back upstairs, watched the BBC news and got dressed, then went back to bed! I tried my new blanket but I didn’t find it warm enough. Oh no! It was a bit of a chilly day though.
When I got up I went downstairs and grabbed my breakfast. I came back upstairs, ate and tried a bit of TV for a few minutes. I decided not to watch it after all and went back to YouTube.
I had a quiet afternoon. I grabbed lunch and came upstairs to watch the PBS news from the States, then put on the finale of The Great British Bake Off. I finished 2017. There are a couple of special event Bake Offs that I’ll watch, but that’s all that I have on Prime. Boo!
F called around 5:30 to say he was finished work so after a bit I went downstairs and got started on dinner. Tonight I made Buta-Tama-Kimchi and it was good! I also made some anchovy potatoes and they were good too. F and K got their stir-fry on rice, I had mine without.
I did the clean up afterwards and was done before 9 pm. Hurray. I didn’t do the garbage tonight as our bag was pretty empty.
I came upstairs, watched some YouTube and also chatted with F. I talked to him about a couple of things that I need/want him to do before he goes into the hospital for his operation. He didn’t seem to freak out so that was good!
I took a shower and then came back upstairs and watched more YouTube. F and I chatted a bit on and off and then he went to bed.
That’s about it for me for today. Not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow. I’d like to work on the room and see if I can go through some of my clothes and sort them out. Not sure if I will be able to too that though.
