Saturday - Cooler and a bit cloudy - Happy Canada Day!
I woke up rather late this morning. I went to bed quite late and I had decided that I wasn’t going to get up early today. I had left food for K so I knew she could eat breakfast and even lunch if she wanted to.
I did get up while it was still morning, but only a little of the morning left. I had a lazy day really. I checked my computer and then took another rest on the bed. I got up and grabbed my lunch then came back upstairs and relaxed after I ate.
I went downstairs again around 5:45 or so and got started on dinner. I finally did the stir-fry that I had been planning for a while. It turned out nicely. We had that with some potato salad and a bit of leftover pasta. K had some rice with hers. She wanted to give me some of her rice, but I didn’t take it!
We had a pretty good dinner. I was surprised that K had put on a Harry Potter movie. It was on TV tonight. It was on in Japanese, but I was surprised that she left it on. When I moved to the kitchen to do the dishes, she changed the station! No worries.
After I did the dishes I came upstairs and just relaxed for a while. I texted F for a while and he gave me a shopping list of things to buy for him. I have to go out tomorrow and pick up a few things so I can drop them off on Monday. I also should pick up a few more groceries that I didn’t know we needed! I have to try and get myself on the road early so I can get it all done and maybe have lunch. That would be nice I think!
I had a fairly quiet evening. I watched the second part of the Tom Holland drama The Crowded Room. I quite enjoyed it. I think I know “the thing”, but I’m waiting to see if I’m correct or not.
When it was finished I tuned in to tonight’s episode of CSI: Vegas. It was about a chef who had been trapped in a freezer in his restaurant. When the show was over, I turned off the TV and got started on my evening routine.
That is about it for me. My Canada Day was very quiet and I didn’t really do anything “Canadian” which is sad, but that’s okay.
Come back later if you like and hear all about my day. Until tomorrow….

Hmmm...I guess since *you* are a Canadian, everything you did was Canadian! Even dinner was "Canadian Made"! Lol.
Happy Canada Day! I will salute a Canada goose if I see one today.
ROTFL, that's funny.
If you see a Canada Goose, I'd run! Those things are vicious I think!
Thanks for my morning chuckle!
