Friday - Clear and warmish.

I woke up just a little after F left for work this morning, went downstairs and then came back upstairs. I got dressed and then went back to bed. My phone rang a bit after 9 am. It was a lady from Apple. She wanted to talk to F because I used his credit card yesterday. Well, F wasn’t there, and I didn’t want to give her his phone number. He drives at work and if he was driving he wouldn’t be able to answer anyway. 

I texted him and then I went back to bed for a while. A long while.

I got up and grabbed breakfast, I watched some YouTube and the news on TV. I had a pretty good day. I didn’t do any laundry. I had a text from my sister about something going on in my family. It was good to hear from my sister. I spent some time writing a text to my brother too.

I grabbed my lunch a little late and came upstairs to eat it. While eating I heard a truck slam its door outside so I ran downstairs. I was expecting a delivery and this time, I was right…it was here. I signed for it and grabbed it from the guy. It wasn’t anything too important, but I was glad I didn’t have to have it re-delivered.

A little bit before 4 pm, I set up my room for talking with a friend. Unfortunately, she didn’t contact me at all. After 20 minutes I sent her a text and a few minutes later she told me she was okay to start a video chat. 

We talked for a while, not quite an hour, but it was lovely to chat to a friend for a while. F called in the middle of our conversation, so I tried to wrap up the video chat after a bit. 

I went downstairs to start dinner. Tonight I did pasta again but this time I did two kinds of sauces! I finished up the pesto from last week and used an ume-shiso mix. We had them with salad, sausages and some tuna. Neither F nor K had extra pasta, but I did! I thought they were both good. 

After dinner, I did the dishes and then went upstairs. I let F know that he should come up and call Apple. He finally did but of course, the woman I wanted to talk to was finished work. He left a message. 

After that, we had a quiet evening in. I watched some YouTube and then took a shower.  When I came back, I watched the half-hour episode of The Great British Sewing Bee from Thursday night. It was enjoyable.

And really, that’s about it. F is off to bed now and honestly, I’d like to go soon too. I’m not sure what we’ll get up to tomorrow, hopefully, we’ll get to go to the movie too.
