Sunday - Cloudy, rainy at night

I slept in this morning and it was lovely! I just didn’t want to get up. F was a good guy and got up and made his mother’s breakfast/brunch.

I made a pitstop downstairs and asked him how he was and what he wanted to do. I always complain that he never tells me what he is doing, but then again, I rarely ask! Today I asked. We decided we’d go out for lunch in a few minutes, and possibly go to the afternoon show of the movie.

We went to Arpeggio. When we got to the restaurant there was a sign on the door that said they were full. We stood outside for a minute to decide what to do, and the restaurant owner came out and said that if we waited a moment we could have a table. Yay.

We had a really nice lunch. I had the bacon-don because it feels like breakfast to me! It’s bacon and eggs on rice…see, breakfast. F had the 10 dish lunch, he gave me some sesame tofu from his tray so that was nice.

When we finished, we went shopping. We were still thinking of going to the 3:30 show so I wanted to do the grocery shopping early. F and I went into Mina and got his mother a bento, we picked up other food and then came back to the house. I put away the groceries and then I asked F how he was. Sadly, he wasn’t feeling that well. He did gamely offer to go to the mall anyway, but I told him that I wouldn’t enjoy the movie if he was sitting there not feeling well. He suggested the late show, but it ended really too late for him to be out before an early start the next day.

I went upstairs and relaxed. I watched some YouTube and got quite tired. After a bit, I went over to the bed and got in. F came up a little later and we had a snuggle for a bit. Then, we talked about dinner. F suggested yakiniku and I was totally fine with that. F called our favourite place to see if we could get in, and we could. We drove over to Togashi and had a very nice meal. We had some gyutan, an assortment platter, some kimchi and some egg soup. It was all very nice and we enjoyed it.

There was an interesting thing when we got to the cash register. The bill we were given belonged to someone else. It was for ¥2000 more than it should have been. F got the correct bill and paid that, probably someone paid our bill and thought themselves lucky. Maybe.

I offered to buy F a drink at Starbucks if it wasn’t busy, so we went there. It wasn’t busy, so I did. I had the dark Opera Frappucino and it was very nice. We hit up the nearby drugstore afterwards for a few things and then came back to the house.

At the house, I put on my pyjamas and then watched another episode of Slow Horses and then one of The Red Green Show. It was crazy. While I was watching TV tonight, I did a bit of crochet. I haven’t done any for ages, so it was nice to get a lot done.

So, that was about it for my day. I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow. I hope it’ll be connected to my new computer, but I’m not sure. Come back later if you like and find out. Until tomorrow….
