Thursday - Hot and sunny

I woke up this morning after F left for work but before my alarm. I went downstairs, came back upstairs and after a bit of video-watching, went back to sleep. I did get up a little earlier than yesterday though. 

I went downstairs to get my breakfast and I got a call from F. He said he was on his way over and offered to bring me some ice cream. I’m an opportunist, so I said yes! I went upstairs and he came back soon after. We had a nice reunion, but he went downstairs after a bit to make his lunch. He also made lunch for his mother today. 

Before I went downstairs to get my lunch, I decided to change our bedsheet. It was quite a hassle. First I had to find the clean sheet. It wasn’t where I put it last month! I finally got it, and then I took all the stuff off the bed. It is quite difficult to replace the sheet because F’s side of the bed has so much stuff on it I can’t get around to that side. I had to do it from on the mattress which made it hard. Still, I got it done finally. I remade the bed, which basically just meant I put the pillows back on the bed. 

I grabbed my lunch and brought it upstairs. Today I decided to watch an episode of something off the DVR rather than the Fire Disk, so I watched The Spencer Sisters from a couple of weeks ago. It was a little silly, but not bad. 

F called me later on and said that he was on his way back. I went downstairs a bit later and got a start on dinner, a couple of minutes before F came back. Tonight I did burgers and fries with potato salad and some curried potatoes and salad. Yes, I know, 3 potato dishes. Nobody seemed to mind! 

I did the dishes after dinner and it didn’t take too long for a change. Hurray. I was still quite sweaty when I finished.  I had to get changed to go out quickly, so I headed upstairs and did that. I was a bit sad I didn’t get a rest before I went out. 

I asked to go to MaxValu tonight as I wanted to pick up some buns and some cheese. F drove me over and I did the shopping. We came back to the house and I put the groceries away. F spent time downstairs watching the Olympics I think. 

I watched The Rookie: Feds and it was okay as usual. F came upstairs and after a while went to bed. I’m still up! 

I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow. I will likely do some laundry and we’ll see what else. Dinner tomorrow will not be cooked, but we’ll have something nice I think.
