Monday -  Sunny in the am, rainy later on

Remembrance Day

I woke up before my alarm this morning, but stayed in bed until just before it went off. I made my trip downstairs and then I came back upstairs. I went back to bed and watched some videos. After that, I went back to sleep for a bit. 

I got up later and went downstairs and made my breakfast. I brought it upstairs and ate. I watched the news and tried to relax a bit.

Later on, I was downstairs in the kitchen when I heard the front door open. F had come back for a minute to use the washroom! It’s so romantic! I went upstairs with my lunch, he came upstairs to say goodbye. 

I ate, watched Major Crimes and then it was time for the news. I turned off the TV when the English language news finished. 

F called me around 5:30 and said he was on his way back. I went down to the kitchen to get a start on dinner. He got back around 6pm and went upstairs to relax. For some reason, a little later, my back went out. I started to get back spasms and I couldn’t move. It was really hard to prepare dinner when I wasn’t sure what the heck was going on. I’m afraid that I took a little bit longer than usual making dinner. I made a stir-fry and finished a bit after 7:30. Usually I’d be done much earlier than that. 

I just made a stir-fry and we had that with some rice and a salad. Most of the stir-fry was eaten, but no-one had seconds. I hope K doesn’t mind having leftovers for lunch tomorrow. I told F about my back so he didn’t really say much.

I did the dishes. Luckily there weren’t too many. I thought that I was going to leave them to dry in the drainer, but I ended up drying them after all.

When I finished and had put away everything, I went upstairs, took a pain pill and went to bed. I didn’t sleep, I read my phone. F popped in for a couple of minutes and was surprised to find me in bed. Lying down on my side, my back was fine.

I decided I’d go downstairs and take a shower. I got myself robed up and went downstairs. However, I discovered that F was taking a shower so I was out of luck! I also realized that I hadn’t brought my towels down with me. That would have been unfortunate if I’d taken the shower before I realized that. I also decided that I would skip the shower tonight because I didn’t know if I’d be able to even shampoo my hair. 

I came back upstairs and a few minutes F followed me. I ended up watching the second part of The Devil’s Hour. It was a strange episode, but it was good. When it finished it was hard not to let the next episode play on!

Anyway, that’s about it for me. Until my back problem came about, I was having a pretty good day. I hope it gets a bit better overnight. I told F that I might not be able to cook dinner tomorrow night. I hope I can, but you never know. It was hard cutting things up tonight and carrying things.
