Thursday - Cloudy, rainy at night

I went to bed a little early last night, or I tried to. I came back up from downstairs and had to wake F up. He was lying on top of the bed, still in his jeans and his computer was on my side of the bed. He went downstairs and then went to bed. He was a bit noisy last night so I had to put in my ear plugs again!

This morning when F got ready for work, he woke me up again. Sigh. I tried not to wake up, but I had to make a trip downstairs. After he left, I watched videos on my phone for a few minutes, then fell asleep again. F popped in for a couple of minutes but didn’t say much as I was still in bed!

I ended up getting up a bit earlier than I have been lately. I was rather happy about that. I dressed, went downstairs and got my breakfast. I came back upstairs to eat and watch the news. 

I had a quiet afternoon. I watched some YouTube and F popped in again for a minute. At 4 pm I watched the news again. The new US President is already making people angry. 

I went downstairs a little before 6 pm to start dinner. I started washing the dishes and I also did a lot of prep for dinner. I washed the salad, prepped the kabocha for cooking and then I cooked it. I also roasted some chicken. Dinner was pretty good tonight. We had baked basil chicken, rice, salad, potato salad and baked kabocha with cheese. It was quite popular too. Most of the food was eaten so it was a good thing that I took K’s food out first. 

I did the dishes and listened to my podcasts after dinner. When I finished, I went upstairs with a can of root beer and I enjoyed it a lot. F came up soon too and I suggested that he get into his PJs soon and if he gets tired to get into bed. He agreed. I checked to see if he’d mind if I watched something on the TV and he said it was fine. 

I watched an episode of So Help Me Todd from the Fire Disk and then tonight’s episode of The Rookie. It was pretty good really, well, both of them were. I enjoyed them.

F went to bed a while ago and I’m going to try and get there soon too. I’m not exactly sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow. I hope I’ll do a bit of laundry and maybe send an email or two!
