Thursday - Sunny and clear

I went to bed a little early last night. When I went downstairs before bed, I heard the TV downstairs on. K was in the living room at 2:30 am watching TV. I wasn’t going to bother her, so I just went to the washroom and when I came back, the TV was off. If she hadn’t had the volume up so loud I wouldn’t have even noticed!

I went to bed and fell asleep soon after I finished doing my reading. I did wake up this morning when F got up, but I managed not to wake up fully. When my alarm went off I woke up properly. I went downstairs and then came back up to the room and went back to sleep. 

I finally dragged myself out of bed and dressed. I grabbed my breakfast downstairs and brought it back up to the room. I ate and watched a bit of YouTube. A little after 1pm I remembered that I needed to do laundry, so I got to work. I took a load downstairs and then a while later did one more. My half of the room is nearly blocked off from the laundry!

I grabbed my lunch and brought it upstairs to eat. I had decided to watch something off the Fire Disk, but while I was searching I discovered that Matlock was now on WOWOW OnDemand. I watched the first episode and it was great! I love Kathy Bates and it’s nice to see Beau Bridges again. I will watch some more.

I had a quiet rest of afternoon and then went downstairs a bit after F called. I got started on dinner. Tonight I made chicken drumsticks in the air fryer and served it with some broccoli, salad and potato salad. I thought dinner was good but F said afterwards that “chicken wasn’t his favourite”. I’m not even sure what he was trying to say. I’m not making ramen for him, he can forget that nonsense! 

After dinner and the dishes it was time to go to the grocery store, but F took a long time getting ready. We had to go to the 24 hour store as I wasn’t going to go to the closer store 20 minutes before closing. 

I went in and got some groceries. I got a few things for breakfasts and also for tomorrow’s dinner. I even picked up some instant miso soup for F since he keeps forgetting to buy it!

We came back to the house and F went upstairs. I followed a few minutes later. I went back downstairs a little before 11 and made some popcorn for both of us. F said he’d like some so I made two batches. He didn’t eat all of his though! I watched the last episode of DOC and really enjoyed it. I hope we will get more episodes later.

And, really, that’s my day. It was okay. I did get laundry done so that was good. Tomorrow I’ll be making dinner and I might figure out a couple of other things to do with myself. Come back later if you like and hear all about my day. Until tomorrow….
