Tuesday - Cloudy and finally rainy later on
I woke up late this morning. F was downstairs making his mother some breakfast, he had said that he would go out to the hardware store as well when he was finished.
I stayed in bed late and finally dragged myself out of bed. I wasn’t even dressed yet and F was demanding that I tell him where I wanted to eat lunch. I told him I didn’t know and wasn’t too hungry yet. He decided that he wanted to go out for ramen and I told him to just go. So annoying really.
I got dressed and checked my computer a bit. I decided that I’d go out and catch the 1:20 bus. I did. F wasn’t back yet, I got out of the house and waited for the bus. The bus was a tad late and I rode it to S-Mall. I checked out the menu at the Daiichi Hotel and it was something I could eat. Woot. I went into the hotel and went to the restaurant.
I was seated and ordered my food. Today I had Pork Piccata with cheese. It came with a salad and a bun. I also had some tea with milk afterwards. It was very nice and it was so nice to sit and eat by myself. No drama, no one on their phone ignoring me…it was great.
After lunch I did a bit of shopping in the mall. I picked up a few things at the 100 yen shop. I toured the grocery shop and the import shop. I got myself a Terry’s Chocolate Mint today. I think the price was a lot better than it was a few months ago. I sent F a text and asked if he’d like to join me for a drink or an ice cream. I didn’t hear back from him.
I decided that I’d just go back to the house. I went over to the bus station and waited for my bus. I got a small drink and had that while I waited. When the bus came, I got on and rode it back to the house. I took the long way round tonight! I was surprised at how many people got on the bus tonight. It wasn’t busy at first, but there were a lot of people getting on and off along the way.
At the house, I saw F in the garden but he didn’t see me! I went in the house and went up to the room. I got comfortable and put away my shopping.
F came up a bit later and was surprised to see me. He hadn’t seen me walk past him! We talked a little but he didn’t ask me anything about my day. Oh, and he hadn’t seen my text. He’d left his phone in the room and wasn’t wearing it!
I mentioned that we should probably arrange to feed his mother, so he went downstairs and made her some food.
He came upstairs and asked where I wanted to go to eat. I suggested a couple of places and then F picked one. We ended up going to Misono again. F had a tempura on rice bowl, I had chicken cutlet. It was good.
We went to Seria, another hundred yen shop. I picked up a few more things and then we left the shop.
We drove over to Machi-ne Kinema and went to see Flow. It was great! What a cool little movie. I’m glad that it won an Academy Award.
We still had to do shopping after the movie, so I thought we’d have to go to MaxValu, but we drove past Mina and we still had 28 minutes. I suggested we go there instead.
I went inside the store and did a quick shop. I got food for breakfasts and lunches and dinners for the next couple of days. I left the store about 5 minutes before they closed.
We came back to the house and F was busy. He had to make rice, he had to iron his clothes and he had to take a shower too! I went upstairs and relaxed. I watched FBI: International at 11 and it was okay. It’s turning more into a shoot em up show than I like. I think I liked it more before.
And that’s about it. F stayed up a bit late, but is sleeping now. He’s off to work tomorrow morning and I’ll be back to cooking and trying to keep the house running. I do wish that F hadn’t thrown a tantrum in the morning, but at least we ended the day on a decent standing.
