Friday - Sunny and warm
I woke up this morning before my alarm went off. I was quite impressed with myself! I went downstairs and then came back upstairs and sorted out my laundry! I put the basket where I could just grab it on the way downstairs.
I went back to bed, watched a few videos and then snoozed for a while. I managed to drag myself out of bed before yesterday’s time, so that was good. I took my first load of laundry downstairs to wash and then grabbed my breakfast. I brought it upstairs to eat while I watched a bit of YouTube.
I ended up doing two loads of laundry and hung them up in my room. It was hot today, but it didn’t hit more than 26 degrees so I was okay with my fan.
I went downstairs around 2:45 to make my lunch. While I was making my lunch the doorbell rang. I went over to the door as I saw it was a delivery person. She asked me if I was someone and I said I wasn’t! The funny thing is that she just stared at me. It was like she had never seen a foreign person before in a house! I told her that this was F’s family house and she apologized and left. No big deal for me, but she really stared until the end! I brought my lunch upstairs to eat and today watched an episode of Matlock. I’m quite enjoying this new version of it.
F called me around 5:30 and I asked him to pick up some coffee creamers for me. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to find the ones I wanted so he didn’t buy me any. Gee, thanks! I got changed and went downstairs to the kitchen to start dinner.
Tonight I did spaghetti with carbonara sauce, salad and sliced cooked chicken. I also made some garlic toast which did disappear quickly!
After dinner I did the dishes and listened to my podcasts. F went upstairs fairly early as he was tired and K went to bed before I was finished. It was quite nice having the kitchen to myself for a while! I’m afraid I dawdled for a while!
I went upstairs and relaxed. F was in bed nearly asleep. I made some tea for myself and then watched a bit of YouTube again. I took myself downstairs to have a shower and then I came back upstairs. Once again, K was up in the living room with the lights on. I said goodnight to her again before I went upstairs.
I feel a bit sorry for K. I don’t spend much time with her and F shouts at her whenever he’s with her. She’s almost completely deaf so I don’t know what the point of yelling at her is. If he spoke normally to her and tried to look at her when he speaks it would be so much better, but he won’t. Sigh.
I came upstairs and watched tonight’s episode of Rebus. It was a good one and ended on quite a cliffhanger.
I turned off the TV and started doing all of my computer stuff for the night. F has been sleeping for most of the night, but he does wake up from time to time and mutter something!
Tomorrow we have doctor appointments in the morning and hopefully the concert in the evening. The bad thing is that we’ll have to plan for it by picking up a bento for K early. I hope F is okay with going tomorrow night.
So, that’s it for me. I hope tomorrow will be a good day, today was fine if a bit lonely. I didn’t get to spend much time with my hubby at all. Come back later if you like and hear all about my day. Until tomorrow….
