Monday - Sunny and warm

I woke up after my alarm this morning. I really didn’t want to wake up. I went downstairs and then, as usual, went back for a longer snooze and video watch. 

I got up later, dressed, and went downstairs. I made my breakfast and then came upstairs to eat it. I made the executive decision not to do laundry today, but I did sort it out, so that’s something! I also did my usual Monday things like replacing the towels in the kitchen and bathroom, backing up my computer and trying to relax from the weekend! I also sent my bestie an email which I owed her.

I went downstairs to get my lunch just before 3 and made my lunch and brought it upstairs. I watched an episode of Elspeth from season 2. It was rather fun as the guest was Nathan Lane. 

I went downstairs to make dinner a bit before 6. F had called me and I suggested he get us some ice cream or something for dessert.  I was downstairs when F came back. He watered the plants and he cut himself doing something while he was outside so I had to get him some tissues and I suggested he clean off the blood from the steps! There was a lot and I was expecting a delivery tonight. I didn’t want to scare the poor guy who brought my package. 

Dinner tonight was good. I made chicken drumsticks, salad, cucumber pickle stuff and steamed vegetables. We ate most of the food and then enjoyed the ice cream that F brought. He’d bought chocolate cookie ice cream and it was nice.

I did the dishes afterwards and listened to a couple of podcasts. I got a late start, so it was after 9pm when I finished. I went upstairs to relax for a while. 

I took my shower after 10:30 and then came upstairs and watched an episode of Severance. It was one that took place in Newfoundland. I was surprised that I recognized the fabulous coast and the bleak look of the place!

And that’s about it for me. Not sure what I’ll be doing tomorrow so come back and find out! Until tomorrow….
