Saturday - Sunny and hot

Well, I woke up this morning around 9 am and went downstairs. F wasn’t back yet. I went back upstairs, left the door to the room open and turned on my fan. It was 28 degrees already in the room.

F came back and after a while he came upstairs with an idea for lunch. We had a snuggle for a bit first. He suggested going for okonomiyaki and I was fine with that. I had suggested the restaurants in Fujishima, but okonomiyaki sounded good too.

I dressed and then we went over there. We got a table which was great and ordered. We each ordered a different okonomiyaki and shared an order of gyoza. It took a while for our food to arrive, but there’s only one person cooking so I understand. When they arrived, we gave a quarter of ours to the other person so we can try them. I had curry cheese, F had shrimp and kimchi. Mine was really good, a little spicy.

After lunch we went over to Musashi to pick up a few things. I wanted something for flies in the kitchen. They’re getting into the cabinet with the dishes so I have to rewash everything before I use it. It’s doubling my work and I don’t get help with anything after all. F picked up something else and we also bought more face masks. They have a brand that is pretty good for people wearing glasses. On the way out, we remembered to get K more tissues. She goes through so many it isn’t funny.

Then, we went over to Komeda Coffee for a drink. We got a table fairly quickly and F was going to order. Well, in that coffee shop, they have gone to mobile ordering. You order via your phone from their app. I have the app on my phone, I’ve done the ordering a couple of times, including last weekend when I had my phone and F didn’t.

I noticed that F was having a lot of trouble ordering. He was pointing his camera phone at the “download the app” code. He already had the app on his phone. I tried to tell him that and he got nasty. Then, I suggested that he sign into the wifi first and he went ballistic. He got up to leave and when I told him I’d have to leave with him, he sat down again and announced that he wouldn’t have anything. Huh? He told me that I’d have to order for myself. Okay, no problem. I called up the app (I have my apps organized on my phone, he doesn’t.) I found the right part of the app fairly easily and put my order on the app. I asked him what he’d like and he said, “Nothing.” Okay then. I sent in my order and a few minutes my iced coffee came to the table. Then, F opened up his app and ordered something. It arrived and he drank his hot coffee rather quickly. He wanted to leave as soon as he finished and he came back to the house.

When we arrived at the house he stormed out and locked the car while I was still in it. I couldn’t get the door opened at first, but finally I figured out where the manual lock was. I tried to get into the back seat to get my shopping, but he’d locked the doors. I had to go and get him to unlock the car, which he claimed he hadn’t locked at all. I grabbed the shopping from the back and the tissues from the trunk and went into the house. I just left the tissues in the middle of the hall and put the rest of the stuff near where I’d be using it.

I went upstairs, turned on the AC and used my computer. F stayed downstairs until 6:30 or so. At 7pm I asked him if he was going to go out for dinner. He said he was thinking about it. I told him I’d like to be back by 8:00pm and he asked me where I wanted to go. I’ve had it with that question. Nowhere I want to go is ever good enough for him so I told him I didn’t know. Then he said he’d go out for ramen. I told him to go ahead and that he was off the hook for my dinner. I went downstairs, grabbed my emergency dinner from the freezer, heated it up and made some tuna salad for myself. I ate quickly. F had disappeared somewhere. I took my plate downstairs to wash and used the loo, and then came upstairs.

I joined a Zoom meeting. A friend was showing a movie over Zoom that hadn’t played up here yet, so I watched it. It was good. A few minutes into it, F came into the room and asked when I was going to watch the movie. I told him I was. I think he expected it to be on the TV not my computer.

Anyway, when it was over, F asked if I wanted some ice cream and I said no. What, you think you can make up for being an idiot with ice cream? That’s a no from me dawg. I was looking forward to a nice day with him and he ruined it.

I watched FBI at 11pm and then turned off the TV. F is sleeping but he’s under the AC so he’s not too happy.

Tomorrow we are supposed to go to a concert in the evening, but to be honest, I don’t want to go anymore. I’m too tired of him acting like a spoiled baby. I hope that he’ll smarten up tomorrow, we have shopping that needs to be done and the weather is supposed to be extra hot tomorrow. Yay. Not.

Anyway, come back later if you like and hear all about my day. Until tomorrow….
