Friday - Sunny and warm

I woke up quite early this morning, around 7 am. F was still here, I went downstairs but K was in the washroom. I had to wait a little. Afterwards, I came back upstairs. I stayed up until F left for work.

I went back to bed and watched some videos and then snoozed until a bit later. I got dressed, went downstairs and then went back to sleep for longer snooze. I woke up much later than I wanted to, but it was fine.

I got up, went downstairs and put my breakfast together and brought it upstairs. I ate it and watched some YouTube. After a little while, I went downstairs and made my lunch! I brought it back upstairs and ate while watching the last episode of Moonflower Murders. It was quite a good mystery. I got the who right, but not the why!

F called me around 5:30 and said he was already in Tsuruoka. I changed quickly and went downstairs to get started on dinner. I did my dishes and then got started on making dinner. When I saw F, he told me that he wasn’t feeling well and wasn’t going to eat dinner. I thanked him for letting me know. Unfortunately, almost everything was prepared except for the pasta. No worries, I just decided to cook enough for K and I.

We had dinner a few minutes after 7 pm and it was nice. We had pasta with a tuna mayo sauce, salad, sliced chicken, cucumber sticks and mini-tomatoes for K. I had earlier prepared some nashi for us, so when I cleared the table, I brought out the fruit. I ate a little of it too. I’m not a fruit person generally.

After dinner I washed the dishes and dried them. It didn’t take too long…yay. I listened to the news podcast and then Kermode and Mayo’s Take. I didn’t finish that one yet.  When I finished the dishes I went upstairs and relaxed. F was okay, just chilling on the bed.

I watched some YouTube for an hour or so and then went downstairs to take my shower. That done, I made myself some popcorn and brought it upstairs to eat. I watched an episode of The Great British Sewing Bee. It was really good and the right person won I think. It was made in 2020 so the winner was spending most of her time in hospitals in masks according to the blurb at the end.

Since midnight I’ve basically been watching YouTube and getting my internet stuff done for the day.

I’m not sure what we’re going to get up to tomorrow. F will be taking K to her Day Service in the morning and then I’m not sure what else will happen. Come back later and find out! Until tomorrow….
