Wednesday - Cool but sunny
I woke up in the middle of the night and had to go downstairs. That was odd. Unfortunately I woke F up too. He told me tonight that he couldn’t get back to sleep after that.
I went back to bed and fell asleep soon after. I did wake up when my alarm went off but turned it off and fell back asleep. I ended up getting up around 10. It was a complete oversleep. Oh well. I went downstairs and then came back to the room and got dressed.
I got my breakfast and brought it upstairs to the room. I ate and relaxed. It was nice. I had my tea and watched a bit of YouTube. Yay for me.
In the afternoon, I started thinking about going to the post office later this week and how cool it would be to take some postcards with me. So, I signed back into Postcrossing and requested not one but two addresses to send postcards too! I’ve been off the site for 4 years basically and just thought I’d try it again. I used to love doing it at the apartment, but here in the house there isn’t a convenient mailbox or post office like before. I’m sending cards to Indonesia and the Netherlands.
F came back from work early today so he could go to the doctor. He’s been having stomach problems again. He came back to the house, changed and went off to the doctor. I got on with my stuff, had lunch, watched NCIS: Los Angeles….happily the storyline finished….
F came back to the house after 5 and went to his bed. I don’t blame him, he was tired. At my usual time, I went downstairs and got started on dinner.
Tonight I did chicken drumsticks in the air fryer plus an onion and mushroom stir-fry thing. We also had salad and the German potato salad. Dinner was good. K and F ate, but didn’t have seconds.
After dinner, I cleared the table and then got stuck in on washing dishes. I listened to my podcasts afterwards and enjoyed them. When I finished the dishes, I gathered up the garbage in the kitchen and bathroom. I got F to help me with K’s garbage too and put it all in the genkan for later.
I went upstairs for a while and scanned the cards that I wrote earlier. I haven’t used my scanner with this new computer so I had to figure out how to do it all. Eventually I finished and I went downstairs to take a shower. I was going downstairs when F was about to come upstairs!
I took a quick shower and then I went upstairs and watched Wild Cards. It was a little bit of a Rear Window situation. It was a fun episode as they usually are. I also got about 4 rows of my knitting done. I think I’m going to start doing the decrease on it next time as I’d really like to finish it soonish.
F went to bed a bit after midnight and I’m still up blogging now.
Tomorrow I’m not sure what I’ll get up to. I should try to do a bit of laundry and I also want to look at my movie list to start on my column. Sigh.
