Wednesday - Sunny but cold

I went to bed late again but for some reason woke up really early and had to go downstairs. It could be that I drank too much tea (all decaf) before bed. Sigh. I came back to bed and went back to sleep. I didn’t wake up again until my alarm went off. I had a hard time getting up if I’m honest. 

I dragged myself out of bed and went downstairs. When I came back to the room I gave myself a bit of a pedicure. My feet needed some TLC. I put my socks back on and went back to bed. I watched videos for a little and then went to sleep again.

I dragged myself out of bed later and dressed, then I went downstairs. I prepared my breakfast and also checked the mail. Christmas card number 2 arrived today! Yay.

I had a quiet afternoon. I decided that I’d write some of my “in Japan” Christmas cards today and I got two done. Later, I went downstairs and made my lunch. I brought it up to the room to eat. Today I watched an episode of The Great British Sewing Bee and enjoyed it. 

F called me after 5:20 or so. I reminded him that he needed to buy kerosene. A little later I went downstairs to get a start on dinner. 

F came back a bit late-the gas station was busy-and I cooked dinner. Tonight we had Chicken Drumsticks in the air fryer, steamed broccoli, babyleaf salad, potato salad and kimchi. F had made rice too. It was all good really. 

After dinner I did the dishes and then I did up the garbage from the kitchen. I asked F to help me do his mother’s garbage too. He did. I put the full bag in the genkan and told him I was going upstairs and then I did.

I did up my garbage bag in the room and then relaxed with some YouTube for a bit. Around 10:30 I went downstairs and took a shower. F was still watching TV downstairs.

After my shower I came upstairs and watched Wild Cards. I like the show but it isn’t the most cerebral of shows. Oh well. The guy is very good looking!

And that’s about it for the day. I might do some laundry tomorrow and hopefully I’ll write another couple of Christmas cards. I might even do another Postcrossing….
