Thursday - Clear in the morning, but cold and snowy later on
I woke up a bit early this morning, as in before my alarm! I got up and went downstairs, then came back to the room and went back to bed. I watched a few videos and then fell asleep again. I ended up oversleeping again. Sigh.
I got up, went downstairs. I checked for snow outside and there wasn’t any. I grabbed my breakfast and then took it upstairs and ate it. I had a quiet afternoon but ended up going downstairs a little early and making my lunch then. I brought my lunch upstairs and then I watched an episode of The Good Fight again. It was good. I like that show a lot.
F called around 5:30 and said he was on the way back. I went downstairs a bit later and got started on my day’s dishes. I also turned on the heater in the living room as it was only 6 degrees there. That was cold.
Tonight’s menu was premade hamburgers, French Fries, salad and sauteed eringi mushrooms. It was quite nice and almost everything disappeared afterwards. I did the dishes and then went upstairs to change.
F and I went out to the grocery store and he came in with me. Sigh. It wasn’t too bad today. I am planning to do pasta tomorrow night so wanted something to go with it. I was hoping for some nice sausages, but I couldn’t find any at a reasonable price. The ones I liked were over 700yen which is a bit much in my opinion.
We got some food and F paid. We left the store and just came back to the house. I put the food away and then went upstairs. We were quite early tonight so I decided to watch some TV. First off I watched an episode of Evil and then an episode of Pluribus. Both were okay.
F stayed up quite late and then he made himself some ramen. He said he was hungry and it would help him sleep. I hope he’s right!
Anyway, that’s about it for me for tonight. Tomorrow I’ll probably do some laundry and try to stay warm. I may have to go out and do some snow shovelling. It snowed here in the late afternoon, and might overnight too. Sigh.
