Wednesday - Sunny and warmish
I had my usual type of morning. I got up, went downstairs and then went back to bed for a bit. I ended up snoozing and then noticed that F had texted me, so I texted him back. I got up, dressed and went downstairs to get my breakfast.
I had breakfast and then worked on wrapping my friend’s present. I also had to register it online in order to send the package.That was fun but it did go quite smoothly.
F called to say he was on his way back and then arrived around 2pm. He’d had lunch and wanted to relax for a bit. I asked about leaving the house and F said he wanted to go at 3:30. I suggested we go a bit earlier as I wanted to go to the post office too.
I ended up having a bit of a lunch as I was hungry. I went downstairs and made it, brought it back upstairs to eat. A few minutes later F asked me for some of my bread. I didn’t know why! He had bought a bag of nice bread from a good bakery on the way back, then ate some of it. I refused to give him any of my bread (I needed it for lunch tomorrow) but did offer him the bread I put in the freezer last week. He took it and toasted it!
We left a bit later than I wanted to. The plan in my head was take me to the post office to mail my parcel, then drop me off at S-Mall before F went over to his doctor’s office. Well, on the way to the post office, F didn’t take the turn he usually does. I asked him if he didn’t want to turn and he said no. Okay then. We got near downtown and I asked him where we were going. He said S-Mall. I reminded him that I needed to go to the Post Office! He did drive me there and happily, it wasn’t busy and I had all my paperwork in order so I was out in just a few minutes. Yay!
F did drop me off at S-mall and then went on to his appointment. I went in the building and got my handbag back. It was brought back today. Yay! I had to pay for it of course, but I am just happy that it is back.
I went upstairs and visited the hundred yen shop. I bought some stuff for the house, and some stuff for me. I found liners for air fryers which is something that I’ve never seen before. I got a package and I’ll see how it goes.
I went downstairs and went to Doutor. It was busy in there but I ordered a decaf cafe au lait and found a seat in the corner. A few minutes later I got a text from F and he said he was in the mall. I replied with a note that said where I was and a few minutes later he joined me. He wouldn’t let me get him a drink, but then started asking me about dinner. I reminded him I was cooking again tonight. We left a few minutes later.
At the house I came upstairs and changed my clothes. F relaxed upstairs. I went downstairs and started preparing dinner. Tonight I did a type of stir-fry with chicken and hijiki which is a kind of seaweed. We also had salad and potato salad, plus rice. Dinner got good reviews and there wasn’t anything leftover! K even took seconds which surprised me.
After dinner I did the dishes and listened to my podcasts. When I finished the dishes I got started on the garbage collection. I finished the kitchen and the bathroom, then got F to help me with the living room and K’s bedroom.
After that, I went upstairs and got my garbage ready to go out. I relaxed for a bit and had a cup of tea. At 10:30 I went downstairs and took a shower. While I was in the shower I cleaned out the drain. It was very yuck! I came back upstairs after my shower and watched The Irrational. It was quite a good one where Alec was in the hospital.
Since midnight I’ve been watching some YouTube and getting ready for going to bed! Tomorrow I might do more laundry and get ready for the weekend.
