Wednesday - Hot and Sunny, but hazy
I did wake up when F was getting ready this morning, but managed not to get up. I fell back asleep again. I woke up when my alarm went off and I went downstairs. I came back to bed and went back to bed. I did my usual thing of watching a few videos, falling asleep on them and then waking up when they start repeating!
I got up finally a bit late and instead of putting on my usual clothes, went with something a little cooler. I put on my culottes and a t-shirt. Good plan! I went downstairs and grabbed my breakfast and brought it upstairs to eat.
I did a bit more work on my column and wrote the intro today. It was getting hot in this room and I was starting to suffer. I went down to get my lunch around 3 and when I came back to the room, I turned on the AC. It was over 31 degrees in our room and I was suffering. It did get nice and cool a little bit later.
F called around 5:30 and said he was on the way back. I changed my clothes and went downstairs before he arrived. I got started on dinner, but tonight’s dinner was an easy one. I bought premade burgers and we had them with salad, potato salad and some pickles. We had it with rice as well.
F told me before dinner that he has a party to go to tomorrow night, so I told him we’d have to go out tonight to pick up things for Friday.
After dinner, I cleared the table and we had a little dessert. It was just a simple roll cake from the grocery store, but it was nice and K liked it.
I did the dishes and then did up the garbage downstairs. F helped me with K’s stuff in the living room and her room. I got that in the genkan and then I went upstairs to change again.
When I came downstairs again I went into the living room as we had the air conditioner on there. F was in the washroom so I sent him a text to let him know that I was ready to go and also that his mother wanted to use the washroom! He did leave finally!
We drove over to Mina and went in. I picked up some breakfast stuff for K for Friday, something for Friday’s dinner and some assorted snacks and some new cereal for me.
Back in the car after shopping, F said that he wasn’t sure if his party was tomorrow night or next Thursday. Ack! He’s very silly. So I may be cooking for two or three tomorrow night….I don’t know.
In the house again I put away the groceries and then went upstairs. F stayed downstairs for a while and then came upstairs. At 11 pm I watched what might be the last episode of The Irrational. It was quite good and tied up a few things.
I’ve been watching YouTube since midnight and working on my end of day things. I’m about done and I’ll probably be heading to bed fairly soon.
