Monday - Hot and Sunny
I was very cranky when I went to bed last night, I stayed that way all night. This morning, getting woken up by F’s alarm clock at 7 am was not a happy thing. I turned off the clock and went back to sleep.
When my alarm went off later I got up, went downstairs and then came back to bed. I did the video and snoozing thing again and it was nice. I got a lot of sleep.
I got up later, dressed and went downstairs to grab my breakfast and bring it upstairs. I had a quiet afternoon and basically started writing a letter to my bestie. She’s written me three that I haven’t answered yet.
I went downstairs later on and got my lunch and brought it back up to the room. I had a lot of stuff that was leftovers from last week. It tasted good though. During lunch I watched an episode of Elsbeth. I wanted to see something a bit light for a change and it fit the bill.
F phoned after 5:15 and we chatted. I was friendly to him and after a while I went downstairs and got started in the kitchen.
Tonight I did my usual Toaster Oven Chicken, but I did it in the air fryer. I think it comes up nicer. I also cooked a couple of onions in the air fryer and later on I did some veggies in the microwave. There was a salad as well and some rice that wasn’t very nice if I’m honest. F wouldn’t make new rice last night. We also had a piece of roll cake, tonight it was melon flavoured which was nice.
I did the dishes and then planned to go upstairs. However, when I came out of the washroom I noticed that F was on a stepladder in the living room vacuuming the air conditioner. I went in and asked if he needed help. He did, so I helped a bit. I tried to put the vacuum cleaner away but ended up causing K’s laundry rack to fall apart. Poor F had to spend about 15 minutes putting the darn thing back together.
I went upstairs and relaxed for a while. F went out to get something for himself and volunteered to get me some cereal while he was at the drugstore. Hurray for him!
After 10 pm I went downstairs and took a shower. Now, I saw K before my shower and she was up again when I finished. She’s an odd little lady.
I went upstairs and watched another episode of Margo’s Got Money Troubles. It was all about her mother’s wedding in Las Vegas. I was spotting all the places that I had been so it was fun!
F went to bed while I was watching the show and then I turned off the TV when it was over. I got my end of day things done and I’ll be going to bed soon.
I’m probably going to get up to lots of laundry tomorrow. I’m so excited!
