Monday - Hot and a bit muggy

I woke up around 7:00 when F was getting ready to leave, but I managed to go back to sleep. I woke up late when my alarm went off. I went downstairs and then came back to the room and went back to bed after a bit. I watched videos and then snoozed until I finally dragged myself out of bed.

I got up, dressed and went downstairs to get my breakfast. I measured out my yogurt and then came back upstairs and added in my cereal. I ate and watched some YouTube. I had a bit of a relaxing morning and early afternoon.

I went downstairs to get my lunch around 3 pm and then I came back upstairs to eat. I turned on the AC as well as it was up to 29℃ and I was struggling. During my lunch I watched another episode of Breaking Bad. It’s kind of funny in a way, the big bad gangster at the moment is played by Raymond Cruz….he was one of my favourite detectives in Major Crimes. It’s a bit scary to see this other side of him. I’m enjoying the series at the moment but it is very intense. I can’t watch it if I’m having a bad day.

I finished up the letter I’ve been writing to my bestie and got the envelope ready to send. I gave it to F to mail on his way to work tomorrow…there’s a mailbox just outside his office so it’s not out of his way. 

F called me a couple of times today. The first time was to set a date and time next month for the Social Worker to come back with the people from the Day Service. The second time was to tell me that he was on his way back from work. 

I went downstairs around 6pm and started getting ready for dinner. I washed my dishes and put them away, realized that I hadn’t brought down fresh towels yet, so ran back upstairs to get some. 

I was a busy person in the kitchen tonight. I did a cucumber pickle, microwave steamed cabbage, salad, mini-tomatoes, and sautéd ginger pork. Dinner was really nice. F’s rice was okay, it was leftover rice and wasn’t great. 

I cleared the table and then did the dishes. I listened to my podcasts and then went back upstairs to relax. I took a shower after 10pm and then came back to the room and watched an episode of Evil before midnight. 

And that’s about it. I’ve been doing my end of day stuff and I’ll hopefully go to bed soon. I’m not sure what I’ll get up to tomorrow, maybe some laundry and whatever I can figure out.
