Tuesday - Hot and Sunny

I went to bed a little late last night but woke up a little early this morning. Sigh. I got up and went downstairs. F didn’t have to leave yet, so he slept on too.

Next time I woke up, my alarm was ringing, I went downstairs and then came back up to the room. I sorted out some clothes to wear and then went back to bed for more snoozing and a few videos on my phone.

I woke up later, got up and dressed. I went downstairs to use the washroom and I heard the door open. F had come back from the hospital.

He rested for a bit and then made some lunch for his mother. Then, it was our turn. We decided to go out for lunch and I suggested F’s favourite fish restaurant. We drove over there and went in. We got a table with chairs, yay, and ended up having the daily special. It was mixed fry and sashimi and it was very nice. We had an oyster, a shrimp and a bit of cod in the fried bit, and some octopus, yellowfish and sea bream in the sashimi. It came with miso soup, rice, and some veggies, salad and pickles. I liked it a lot.

After lunch we went over to S-Mall and had a glass of cold coffee each at Doutor. F got the special Hawaiian blend, I got decaf.

We left the mall and then went to Gyomu Supa. We did a little shopping there! They had some kaki-gori syrup there for around 100yen, we got one, I got some more cereal, a few things for dinner side dishes and then F wanted to get us some ice cream! We paid and then came back to the house.

I put the food away and we were going to wake up his mother and have our ice cream but F took so long in the washroom that our ice cream was basically soup! Ack. It was nice though. I went upstairs after the ice cream. I watched the US news and then did some stuff on my computer.

F made something for K’s dinner and then wanted to know what I wanted to do for dinner. Honestly, I didn’t care that much. He suggested a gyudon shop, I suggested an okonomiyaki place. He agreed. On our way there, I found their stamp card and it said that Tuesday was their closed day, so gyudon it was.

We went to Tsukia and both had curry and rice. I had mine with cheese and spinach, with a Korean salad and miso soup. F had curry with meat and an egg and I think miso soup. He didn’t like his much, I thought mine was fine.

We went over to PAL to do our grocery shopping. F stayed in the car and I stayed in budget. Yay. I got some chicken drumsticks for tomorrow and some basic, pre-made burgers for Thursday night. When I finished in the store I came back to the car and we drove back to the house.

I put the groceries away and then went upstairs. I checked what was on TV tonight and discovered that the show I missed on Saturday repeated tonight, so I watched it. It was FBI and then I watched tonight’s Law & Order. It was an interesting story but I think a lot of it had roots in a previous season that we hadn’t seen before here.

And that was my day. I had a nice day out with my husband and it was good that he got to have a day off. His visit to the surgeon was fine but has to go back next year!

Come back later if you like and hear all about my day. Until tomorrow….
