Book 14) Prince Caspian

14) Prince Caspian - C.S. Lewis (June 10, 2008)*

A fun story that tells of Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy's second visit to Narnia. They are summoned to help the title character defeat his uncle who has usurped the throne of Narnia.

Lots of fun, but not a really deep story. Worth re-reading. It's been at least 12 years since I last read this. Enjoyable.

I liked the book too. And the movie wasn't a disappointment. Did you watch it yet?

I also liked the story of Prince Caspian's son, so i hope they make that into a movie as well, next. :-))

Indeed I did! I liked it too, but when I re-read the book I was surprised at how different it was.

Here's my review of the movie...Prince Caspian

The next movie is The Voyage of the Dawn Treader, which is also about Prince Caspian. I'm looking forward to it. I think they're already working on it. The one after that should be The Silver Chair and that's with Prince Rillian, Caspian's son. So, I think we'll have to wait a while to see Rillian. Sigh. And wait to see Puddleglum :-( I have a lot in common with Puddleglum.

I love Price Caspian too. I thought the differences in the movie were nice too- true to the spirit, I think. Plus Prince Caspian was hot!

He wasn't bad was he? 'Cept he was too old really to play Caspian. Caspian was quite young in the book.
