Hot and humid. Very sunny.
Today was a good day. I got up early, but there was no news so I fell asleep on the couch.
I got ready to go out. I wrote my sister a letter and then went to mail it. I also went to a bank and paid my school's water bill. I went to a different bank than the one that I usually go to. I came home via a convenience store.
After another hour I started to cook my lunch. After lunch and the clean up, I took off to my school. I got there in good time, but it was so hot inside. It had reached 34.6 degrees today. Yikes.
After class I cleaned up and then called Fumihiko. He picked me up and we went off to dinner at the soba restaurant. I had hot soba for a change with sushi. It was really nice. We came home via the grocery store.
At home we chillled out and watched an episode of Monk, then at midnight we watched some of Sex and the City. I actually have to say that it's much better than I thought it would be. I still don't like it as much as Friends for example, but it's quite funny. I think I like the characters. My husband laughed a bit at it, but it's not really a "guy" show.
Anyway, that was my day. It was quite good and I rather enjoyed myself. Hopefully, tomorrow I'll go out and have a good time by myself. That's my goal for the day anyway!

The Simpsons called Sex in the City the show were 4 straight women act like 4 gay men and that sort of sums it up pretty well.
I think it's a pretty good show (I'm not a follower, but I've caught about a dozen episodes here and there on LaLa TV), but some of the ways in which it tritely portrays women irk me a bit. In particular, the shoe thing gets on my wick. Of course, I have two pair of shoes, so I can't relate.
