Cold and snowy.

Had an okay day today. I didn't sleep very well last night. I was worried about getting to work on time today, and about shovelling snow when I got there.

However, I got up this morning, showered and then watched the news. Around 12 I cooked my breakfast and then headed out into the cold and snow. Sigh.

The walking wasn't that bad as the snow was soft but hadn't frozen to ice. I stopped halfway to my school and bought a couple of sandwiches for later. I knew I'd be hungry.

When I got to my school I dumped my stuff and then went out with my shovel to the parking lot. It wasn't fun, but it wasn't as bad as it could be. The snow plough had gone down the road, but hadn't blocked the entrance to the parking. I managed to shovel my space out in about 25 minutes.

I had 3 lessons today. The first two went quite well. The first was with a new student too. The last lesson was okay, but I was quite tired and I think the discussion was a little difficult for the student.

After work I cleaned up and danced around my school to the lovely music of my iPod. That was fun. I had a blast.

Fumihiko picked me up and then we came home. He had made a nabe for us. It was good, but I didn't like the base he used. After dinner I washed the dishes and then we had a quiet evening together.

We watched Ugly Betty and are now watching an old Katherine Hepburn movie, Summertime. I love Katherine Hepburn. She was such a great actress. The story is so much more interesting and complex than a lot of modern films.

Anyway, I'm off to bed. I'm really tired and I need all the beauty sleep I can get. Tune back in tomorrow for another thrilling update. Night night!

It wasn't terrible, but we get a lot of wind, so walking to work can be quite nasty. I had my collar pulled up, a hat on and a neck collar on, so I was quite warm.

Winter is just getting started here though. Sigh.
