August 3, 2009 - Monday

Hot and humid, sunny.

I had a good day today. It was quiet and I didn't do that much, but it was nice and peaceful, so I enjoyed myself.

Watched the weekend's TV this week and also watched the end of The Jane Austen Book Club again. I really liked that movie more than the book it was based upon.

I kept meaning to go out, but never really got around to it. When Wallender came on at 4 I knew I was stuck. I'd never willingly leave on good Kenneth Branagh. I did something a little unusual for me today, I had some lunch while I was at home. Oftentimes I just don't bother. I'm glad that I did because I felt so much better the rest of the day.

When F came home I made him go out again fairly soon. I wanted to go to the electronic store. I needed a new ink cartridge for my school's photocopier and I also wanted to get myself a memory stick for my computer. I've never had one before. I got one that I quite like!

We had dinner at a yakiniku place near the electronic shop, and we were quite lucky to get in. It was busy. Also, hubby and I nearly had a fight because he wanted to order way too much food again. He wanted the super-duper set for 2-3 people, plus have raimen & kobukuro for himself. I don't think so! We got a smaller set, he had his extras and I had some caesar salad and some chicken extra. When we finished I felt satisfied, but not overstuffed. Yay.

We bought some groceries on the way home, but will have to get one more vital ingredient tomorrow. Probably! I'll think about it and see if I really need it.

This was a quiet evening. F was watching a few things on the telly, but at midnight I said it's my turn, so we're watching Ooops now. It's funny, but a little gross tonight.

Tomorrow I'm back to work, but in the evening only. That'll be a nice change for me. Talk to you later. Night!
