Wednesday - Cloudy but not rainy.
An okay day. I went to bed rather late last night as I was re-reading parts of my novel. The court scenes were rather delicious, worth a re-read.
This morning when my alarm went off I woke up and decided to reset my alarm. I either set it wrong or I slept through it, but I woke up rather late today. Oops. Rather ashamed of myself, I got up and checked my internet groups.
I got dressed and had a quiet time in the apartment. However, around 4 pm I decided that if I was going to go out I had better go out! I went to the drugstore, hacked around and bought a few things, then came back towards home.
I stopped at McDonalds and had a late lunch. I tried their McPork set and it was okay. Really just a sausage patty on a bun with soggy fries. Too bad. I ate and read some of my AFWJ Journal that I hadn’t read before.
I came home and F called me a bit later to say he was on the way.
I didn’t cook dinner right away, but I decided that it wasn’t fair for me not to cook for F so I went into the kitchen and did my thing. We had salad with mini-tomatoes, stir-fried asparagus and then some sauteed chicken. The chicken was pre breaded from the store, not the kara-age they sell here, just breaded chicken. It was quite nice.
F and I enjoyed our meal and he did the dishes afterwards. After a bit I suggested that we sit down and watch a movie. I wanted to do some more of my crochet. I gave F a handful of dvds and told him to pick the one he’d like to see. He chose Lone Wolf McQuade, so we settled in with some oolong tea and Chuck Norris. It was a hoot seeing it again after all these years. I had seen it when it first came out, but not really since then. F liked it, but we both agreed it was pretty silly. I told him a few Chuck Norris jokes too afterwards!
That’s about it for my day. I have 4 balls of yarn left and 4 and a half rows of edging to do on my shawl. I think it’s going to be a bit touch and go. Wish me luck with it! Night.
