Wednesday - clear and sunny, rainy at night.

A good day. I got up when my alarm rang, checked email and then went back to bed for a while. I know I shouldn’t have, but I was quite cold and tired too, so decided to take a break.

I got up later and spent a lovely afternoon in front of my computer. It was fun. WOWOW had a couple of okay but not great films on, so I watched them. First up was The Fast and Furious, which I’d never seen before. Vin Diesel does have a certain presence, doesn’t he? Or at least he did. Then, I watched Max Payne, which was dumb, but had some good people in it.

In the evening, F called me to say he was coming home, but I was already in the kitchen starting dinner. I took rather a long time doing prep, so we didn’t end up eating until close to 8 pm. However, it was worth the wait. I made a yummy pork stew with dumplings. F told me tonight that Japanese people do make dumplings, or at least they did during the war and just after, when rice was scarce. I had no idea! There is a bit of stew leftover so I have something nice for lunch tomorrow if I want. Yay.

F washed the few dishes that were left from dinner and then settled in on the couch to watch something on TV. It wasn’t quite as annoying as usual. At 10pm I turned the TV over to watch Timeline. I had seen it before, but since the first time I have read the book, so wanted to see it with fresh eyes. I think the book was better, but within the confines of a 2 hour movie they didn’t do too badly.

And that’s it so far! I might try and get to bed early tonight, or more likely, not! Tomorrow I am hoping to get out of the apartment for a bit. Wish me luck! Night.

I had a possible spam/commercially sponsored comment today, so I'm posting it, but without the link hopefully.

I was never a fan of the fast&Furious serires. I have never been a fan of racing and cars I guess. Well, at least you watched the movie because it's the fact that you watched it that counts - it sems like one of those things you 'have to do' at some stage in your life.

I was bored, it was on. I didn't have to watch it. I like Vin Diesel and Michelle Roderigues so I wasted time! (Can't spell her name, sorry.)
