Apparently, we haven’t had the rainy season yet, but there are some areas of Japan that have already finished it. Oh joy.
Anyway, today was a quiet day at home. I did veggie prep for a couple of hours today and then decided when I was done to go out for a bit. I biked off to S-Mall and had myself a sandwich and an iced tea. Yum. I read my journal for a while too.
I came home after 5:30 and F was already home. He hadn’t even called me to see where I was, but he had just finished scarfing down some noodles. Grr. I got a bit mad at that and thought about not cooking tonight. I waited for a while, but then had to get my skates on. I managed to burn my finger rather nastily when some hot oil splashed onto it. Ouch. The stew took ages to cook, as it does, but it was worth it.
Poor old F got sunburn today. His arms and face are really red, so I gave him some of my aloe gel that he bought me a few years ago. It seemed to have helped he said.
Dinner, when it was ready was awesome! It was really delicious. We had pork stew with dumplings and we both had seconds. We had some celery sticks on the side too. It was nice to have that bit of crunch with the soft veggies.
I’m planning to watch Royal Pains in a few minutes so I’m writing my blog a bit early. If anything momentous happens afterwards, I’ll update you. I doubt that it will!
But wait....Not so momentous, just thought I'd include a snap of my latest shawl for anyone who is interested. The pattern is on Ravelry.com and is free. This is my version of the Fantasm shawl. It's still in the early stages yet, obviously!

Take care, talk to you tomorrow? Night.
