Tuesday- Hot and sunny
An okay day.
I overslept this morning and it wasn’t a good day for it. I had to be at the school early today. I got up, showered and then spent a couple of hours on my computer.
Lunch, when I cooked it, was nice. I had an omelette with leftover zucchini from yesterday plus cheddar cheese. I am very much enjoying that block of cheese. I headed off to my very hot school and got set up for the day.
My classes went well. The first one was quite good and we got down to business almost immediately. My second student was too busy to come to class today, which was sad. I used my free time to read the newspapers and to work on a model lesson for next week. I have to decide what to do for it. I haven’t done one in a while.
My last class was okay, but there are a few things I have to work out with my student now that are causing me some stress.
After school, I finished up and then called my husband. He came and picked me up and we went to New York, New York for dinner. We both had the same thing today, keema-curry doria and salad bar. The doria was quite good, it was a new dish.
We came home after a very quick trip around the grocery store. We only bought 3 things as I’m not cooking tomorrow. While taking my bike out of his car, F managed to break my bike, so I am not a happy camper. He’s done something to the spring that holds it together when I’m riding it. I think it got caught in the junk that lives in his car trunk. (My bike folds in the middle to fit into small places.) I am very angry as I love and NEED my bike. I think he’d be a little more concerned if I tore the driver’s side door off his car!
At home we watched Undercover Bosses which was interesting. It was funny that one of the employees “fired” the boss! F and I got a good chuckle at that.
I phoned my niece tonight to wish her a happy birthday and we talked for a long time. It was quite fun. I sent her a handmade scarf for a present, but she’s not sure how to wear it. I hope she figures it out!
And that’s about it. Tomorrow I will have to clean up F’s bike as he told me not to ride mine. That means I’ll likely have to pump up the tires and clean the cobwebs of his bike. Also, I have dinner plans and I’m looking forward to them. I’ll catch up with you tomorrow night.
