Friday - Sunny, with rain showers

A good day. I was tired yesterday so I slept in today. I hadn’t planned to, but I didn’t wake up between 8 am and noon. Surprising.

Anyway, I got up and after a bit we went to Aki for okonomikyaki. It was great.

After lunch, F dropped me off at the mall and he went to get his hair cut. While I was in the mall I hacked around some of the stores and then went for tea. The coffee shop was a little busy so I found a seat in a corner and realised that a student was sitting a table away from me! She saw me at the same time and invited me to join her. That was nice of her. We chatted for a few minutes and then I got a call from F who was now in the mall too. He joined us for a few minutes. After a bit, we broke up our little coffee meeting and went our separate ways.

We ran a few errands in the afternoon and then came home so F could get ready for the party. He made himself all gorgeous in a suit I bought him a few years ago, and then he drove off to pick up his mother and take her.

I had a bit of a veggie for a while, and then started to work on my computer. I watched some of the big Superman extravaganza on WOWOW, starting with the end of Superman 2. I enjoyed Superman 3, not because it was good (it wasn’t) but because it was filmed in Alberta and it felt like home!

The fourth film was ending when F called to say he was on his way home, on foot. He’d had a couple so couldn’t drive home. He came home soon, and we watched the first hour of KickAss together. After the first hour, we changed the channel to watch Desperate Housewives. Oh Wisteria Lane…so many weird things going on there. I did quite a bit of my crochet. I have one row left, so I’ll leave it for another night when I’m a little less tired or distracted. The second last row I did was very fiddly.

After DH finished, we watched the end of KickAss. I liked the movie, appreciated its humour, but still feel a bit odd about the age of one of the lead characters. Not really the age, but how violent and foul mouthed she is.

I just watched Supernatural which was kind of neat. That show always freaks me out. Why do I watch it?

Tomorrow I’m at work, hopefully for the whole day. I have 3 classes and a lot of things to do in-between them. I’ll say goodnight for now…and hopefully will do a bit of a right up tomorrow night. Night!
