Wednesday - Warm and sunny, some rain at night

I got up at a goodly time today and didn’t do a whole lot, but enjoyed my day.

In the afternoon I watched The West Wing and did some long put off mending. I sewed on a couple of buttons and then watched a weird Julianne Moore film and re-hemmed a pair of pants that the hem had come down on. It doesn’t sound like a lot, but it takes a while to do.

In the afternoon I watched a bit of TV on WOWOW and then around 5 I went out to do a little bike maintenance. I had noticed that lately my tires seemed very low, so I pumped them up. After that I did a bit of weeding in the unflower bed and then took myself off to the nearest vending machine for a celebratory drink. Actually, not a celebratory drink, a Coke-Free. It was only 100 yen, so a veritable bargain! I hadn’t taken a bag with me, so I had to put the Coke in my pocket. It was cold and my leg got cold remarkably quickly. Brr. Don’t do that again!

F was a bit late tonight and seemed a touch grumpy and tired. He went off for his after work nap and then I got dinner underway.

Tonight’s dinner was Chicken Carbonara with salad. Basically, I just cooked some chicken with a bit of rosemary and oregano, heated up a bought carbonara sauce, and put the chicken and sauce on some pasta. It was quite nice and got good reviews.

After dinner, F did the dishes and then watched J-TV. Yawn. I was tired so went to take a 20 minute nap, but F joined me. I got up again after 40 minutes, but F was asleep and slept until after midnight.

I watched Grey’s Anatomy and then a documentary on Sept. 11th. Sort of wish I didn’t watch the documentary though.

F got up around 2 and had to watch soccer loudly. Bleck. I get quite annoyed when he does dumb things like that. He has finally gone back to bed though. Yay.

I will be going off to bed soon though. I’m rather tired and need all the beauty sleep I can get. I have an early day at the school tomorrow and will have to leave home at or before 1 pm if I can. Wish me luck with that please. Night.
