Saturday - Sunny, but then rainy and cool at night.

An okay day. I didn’t have to go to work too early this morning as my first class had cancelled today. That meant I let F pick our morning restaurant . He picked one that is close to my school, but we rarely go because it doesn’t open early enough for me to go there before my class. It was fine. Not great, but quite nice really.

After lunch we went for a drive out to the port. I could hardly keep my eyes open. I stayed in the car while F went for a walk along the dock. Back in Tsuruoka, I asked F to just drop me off at my school so I could have a quick nap. Well, as soon as I got to my school, I woke up and got to work. I vacuumed thoroughly and got the water pot going too. I did a bit of paperwork and folded the clean towels. I was busy and didn’t go to sleep.

My student called me at the appointed time to say she was on her way but would be a little late. Sad to say, she came with only 10 minutes left on the clock, but we managed to schedule a few classes and get her a new reading book. After she left, I cleaned up the little I had to do, did paperwork and then called F to pick me up.

We did a bit of a drive around Tsuruoka. We bought gas and then went to the theatre. We bought our tickets and then had dinner at the restaurant in the cinema. I had pork and mushrooms again, F had ramen. Then we went to see our movie.

We went to see The Kids are All Right with Julianne Moore, Annette Bening and Mark Ruffalo. We both liked it, although F wasn’t sure for a bit. I liked it for the great acting and the unusual look at family.

After the movie we hit McDonalds to get some ice cream. We had tried for Mr Donut but the parking was full. After that we came home and watched some TV. My kind of TV for a change. Yay.

Anyway, it is terribly late and I am tired and feeling a little like I’m getting a cold, so I think I’ll hie myself off to bed soon. Take care and I’ll talk to you tomorrow night I think. Night!
