Sunday - Rainy and cool

A good day. Both of us slept in today. It wasn’t a surprise that I did, but it was a surprise that F did. He usually doesn’t.

When we got up we went to Kintaro Sushi for a late brunch and then headed out to the Mikawa Mall. I wanted to get a head start on my sister’s birthday present. Her b-day is coming up next month. We got her a couple of things that I think she’ll like. At least I hope so!

After a lot of shopping and window shopping, tea and java kula, we headed out of the mall and went into Sakata for dinner. Tonight we had dinner at Steak Miya and it was very nice. I feel like I have a cold coming on, so I had a couple of cups of lemongrass and mint tea. It was very nice too.

When we finished dinner, we headed over to the Aeon Jusco near the restaurant and I went to the craft department. I looked over their yarn and finally decided to buy some pretty blue stuff. It has a silver thread through it too, so will probably work up nicely. I hope I got enough. I haven’t got a pattern in mind at the moment, I’m hoping to find one for myself. We did look at groceries there, but nothing really made me feel like buying any, so we headed back to Tsuruoka, to our usual place. There we settled on some basil chicken for dinner. Hopefully it’ll be simple.

We had a fairly quiet evening here. F put on WOWOW and we watched Knight and Day. It’s a so-so movie with Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. Hubs watched it more than me. When it was over, he started watching The Hurt Locker. I think I liked it more this time than when I originally saw it.

And that was it for my day basically. I think this cold is going to be a bad one, so I really should get to bed soon. Got to go. Night!
