Monday - Rainy, with hail. Cold.

I surprised myself today. I got up this morning before my alarms went off, before 9 o’clock. I got up and watched a bit of TV, did my computer stuff and was reading the paper when, yes, you guessed it…F came home for a minute. Sigh. He didn’t stay, but it did give me the kick I needed to get moving.

I got dressed, put the covers on the quilts and made the bed with them, then I did laundry, lots of laundry. I think I’ve only done one load since I came back from Australia until now. I also watched a couple of movies. I saw the end of SWAT, and also City of Angels (I liked the original in German much more) and X-Men Origins: Wolverine. I watched a bit of Sherlock Holmes as well.

Also on another WOWOW channel I saw the premiere episode of ER. It was a hoot as I’d never seen it before. I wasn’t into ER in Canada, it was a show that I started watching in Japan.

F came home a bit late tonight and made all sorts of noise as I was trying to watch ER. I shushed him and he did try to stay quiet for me! He got a postcard from Belarus today so was quite happy.

I made dinner tonight, just a simple one of sautéed chicken, salad and frozen croquettes. It was quite nice, for all of it’s simplicity.

In the evening, F has been watching a silly Japanese show about men on an obstacle course. He likes that sort of thing. I personally wouldn’t watch it, but apart from everyone yelling at the same time, didn’t mind it that much and got sucked in a bit.

I’m hoping to watch a detective show soon and then have an early night as I still feel quite horrible. Tomorrow I’m back to work…wish me luck. Night!
