Sunday - Clear and sunny, but cool

A good day. I woke up around 11 am and set my alarm to give me another half hour of snoozing, but completely overslept it and woke up an hour later. Sigh. I dragged myself out of bed and stayed up.

We had a cheap and cheerful brunch at Kappa Sushi today, then headed out to Kamo Port for a little fishing. We stopped for drinks along the way, also bait stuff that I thought was a loaf of bread first. The port was quite crowded, but F parked the car and got us set up.

We fished for a couple of hours without much luck. F caught a couple of tiny little fish, I didn’t catch anything. I really didn’t mind that much as I was there for him more than anything. We packed it in around 5:30. It was getting dark and cold. F didn’t notice the cold, but I did.

We headed out to Mikawa Shopping Center to wash our hands and use the washrooms. While we were there, we did a little shopping too. We got some new socks and had a drink at Mr Donut.

We left the mall after a bit and went to Edoitchi for dinner. It’s a yakiniku buffet restaurant. We had to wait a bit as they were very busy, but it wasn’t too bad. We arrived at the end of the rush and people were leaving as we arrived, so eventually the place became a lot less crowded. We had a lot of food, and left the restaurant quite full.

We came home and spent the next few hours on our respective computers. We didn’t even turn on the TV. F was working on his Postcrossings. He wrote a couple of cards up tonight, and kept interrupting me to check how his English was!
I can send one postcard, but I think I’ll wait for either tomorrow night or Tuesday night to write it out. I am awfully tired now and I need my beauty sleep!

Tomorrow we might see a movie, or we might go shopping. We haven’t quite decided yet. It’s a national holiday here AND back home, so it feels a little special. Happy Thanksgiving to any Canadians reading this, happy Sports day to any Japanese people reading! Night.
