Saturday - Sunny then rainy
A pretty good day. I got up this morning, showered and then went through to the living room to wait for F and to check my email. My first class of the day had cancelled so I didn’t have to be at the school early. F said that he was going to go to his mother’s so I volunteered to go to work early after our brunch so he didn’t have to worry about me. He came back from the doctor and said he wasn’t going. Then he went to bed. I went in for a cuddle, ended up falling asleep and we didn’t get up again until 2. Yikes! I had planned things for the time I was going to be at my school, but I wouldn’t have that time now. Sigh.
We had lunch over near city hall. It’s a place that has good food, but today I just wasn’t in the mood for it. I had pasta, which annoyed me as I had eaten pasta for dinner last night. It was good though.
F dropped me off at my school and I set up the water pot and the heater. I did a few other things to get myself ready. When it was almost time for my class the student called to say that she was just setting out and would be late. She came a bit late, we set her schedule for the next few classes and then she left again!
I finished up at the school and then called F and asked him to pick me up. He did and we bought gas for the car first and then went to Gusto for dinner. F’s dinner was free as he had a coupon for all of it! Mine wasn’t, I ordered chicken but I got the smallest piece ever and I was quite ticked off. I didn’t think it was that small when I looked at the menu picture. Sigh.
We came home and had a quiet evening. F watched Skating for a while and then I took over the TV and watched my stuff. I’m still watching as I write. The Fox free channel has Sex and the City on and even though I’ve seen some of them, I like watching them again, especially the early ones which are quite funny.
And that was my day. Tomorrow I’m not sure what we’re going to do. F was talking about staying home and watching DVDs which does sound fun…as long as it isn’t watching all 6 Rocky movies. Night!
