Friday - clear and sunny

A good day today. I got up in time to watch my show on WOWOW and only half watched it. I think it’s not that good or I’d really try and watch it more.

I turned off the TV for a while, put it back on to watch the news and then found a Mark Wahlberg movie called Invincible that was quite good. Certainly better than I would have expected since it was based on a true story and was about football. Neither of those are my favourite kinds of movies!

In the afternoon, I wrapped another part of my sister’s present and then took it, and a couple of outgoing postcards to the post office. My plan was to buy a new box at the post office and post Van’s present in that. But, the boxes they had were the wrong size. I mailed the postcards and came home with the present.
Oh, yes, I also watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 as it was on today too. I watched most of it, that is. I missed some when I went to the post office.

F came home around 6 and was exhausted. He’d had to drive to Yamagata city and back twice today. He collapsed into bed for a bit.

I got dinner underway. It wasn’t a big whoop tonight, but it was quite good. It was basil chicken with hash brown patties and salad. I managed to get everything ready at the same time, AND get F to get out of bed, so I think I did rather well!

He did the dishes afterwards and we settled in for an interesting night together. I watched rather a lot of TV it must be said, but I don’t care. It wasn’t his stuff for a change. I made him watch Love Lessons on Fox tonight. It was so awful, but at one part F just started laughing at the show. It was funny. I watched The Good Wife and worked on my shawl again. I found a mistake in the pattern again…and have to either crochet 2 more rows before I start the edging or rip-out 2 rows. Something like that. Annoying. After The Good Wife was finished, I turned the channel and watched Predators. I still love that movie. Adrien Brody is so cool in that one!

Anyway, that’s about it for me. Tomorrow I seem to only have one class, but F needs me to finish my book-keeping for the year if I can. He has to report my income to his employer. I hate this system. There is no privacy in Japan for things I consider private. Night. (and Grr!)
