Wednesday - Warm and sunny

An okay day. I didn’t get up as early as I did yesterday, but it was fine. I was thinking to go out early this morning, but talked myself out of it. I really didn’t want to go out at that time today.

I had a quiet afternoon. A couple of my post crossings arrived to their receivers so I requested a new address, and got one in Japan. It felt a bit strange but I did it. I hope she likes her card.

I took the card and went out for a little afternoon trip to the mall. I mailed it at a post office, and then continued to the mall. I didn’t get too much at the mall today, but I did get a few things for F’s Christmas present. During my lovely time at Doutors, I drank some Royal Milk Tea and sketched out my Christmas letter. The first draft was going to be rather morbid, but I think my second run at it came over a lot better.

I bought a few things at the grocery store and then left to go home. F called me as I was unlocking my bicycle and said he was on his way home. I told him I was too. I actually made it home before him.

When he got home he changed and then went to bed for a nap. Hrumph. I played on my computer for a while before starting dinner. I told him when I was starting dinner and reminded him that he had laundry in the washing machine.

I boiled the fettuccine and heated up the sauce, got the table set and put out the salads from the mall. Dinner was served. It took a couple of minutes for F to get to the table, but he wasn’t as bad as usual tonight! The sauce and the pasta were yummy and I think we both enjoyed our meal. The big downer was that F watched kickboxing or boxing or some kind of fighting show throughout our meal. I was not impressed. He didn’t talk to me at all and all I saw of him was his neck. Usually I make him (or me) turn off the TV when we’re eating, unless it is something special on TV.

F did the dishes and then moaned about wanting to go out. So, at 10 pm, we went to the grocery store for detergent for him. We got that and a few groceries for tomorrow. F knew that I wanted to get home to watch Grey’s Anatomy, so I wasn’t terribly pleased that he decided to hem and haw about cooking dinner tomorrow night. He finally chose not to, so we paid and came home.

Grey’s was fine tonight. It was the episode before the big singing show and I’m rather looking forward to that. I’ve seen a few previews and some of the actors are amazing singers. Anyway, it ended with a cliffhanger. I watched it from the chesterfield and I did some crochet. I got about half a row of the edging done, and it’s working out fine this time. Yay. I wish the instructions were written a little better. I get it eventually, but it’s a waste of time when they don’t work out.

And that was that. I watched a bit of TV and I’ll likely go to bed soon. It’s terribly late and I am going to have to get some sleep soon.

Talk to you all tomorrow. Night!
