Friday - Rainy with snowy flurries.

A good day.

I got up this morning, but I was tired. After doing my computer stuff and some other things, I went back to bed for a while. I didn’t sleep all that long, but felt better afterward.

I got up and showered and got on with my day. I went out to the post office and mailed my postcards, then came back home and did some vacuuming. Yay me.

F came home a little after 5 pm and then we went to the post office. With a big box. We took the presents that we’re sending to Canada to the main post office. We had to buy one box for my friend’s presents, and then stuffed my sister’s one with some newspaper as the box wasn’t full. It took ages, but I was organised and listed the contents off while I was off to the side so it wasn’t too bad for other people.

After we did all that, F took me out for dinner. We had thought to go to the Grand El Son, but their parking lot was completely full. Instead, we ended up at Tsubaki, a Japanese “course” meal restaurant. We had a lovely meal and we both enjoyed it.

We drove over to my school to set the heater and as we did so, my cellphone received a message from my Saturday student. She couldn’t come at her regular time, could we reschedule? Okay, not a problem.

We came home and had a nice evening in. F and I watched a vampire movie called Daybreakers until it was time for The Good Wife. I was taping the movie and didn’t want to change the station, but I can’t tape The Good Wife and watch the movie, so…. After my show, back to the movie. It was really a neat little movie. I liked how it worked. It wasn’t a great film, but much better than I thought it would be.

And that’s about it. I’m now watching too much of Mildred Pierce. I love Kate Winslet of course, but I should get myself off to bed soon. Night!
